If you are just a couple without kids it is better to have meals at the restaurant or fastfood. However, if you have 3 kids to more than 5 kids it is better to just stay at home, cook and have meals at home, cheaper that way. Depends actually if you can manage a messy, clutter and smoky kitchen. The hardest part is cleaning the messy pots, kettles, wok, utensils because they are to be handwashed you can have all the plates, forks and spoons in the dishwasher including drinking glasses and cups and mugs.
Thinking all about the many tasks, the cleaning supply, the electric consumption, did you really save money?
Well, maybe there are few times that somehow you probably saved something, few dimes and nickels then add up to few dollars. The heck with it. Going anywhere outside of your own comfort zone means money, money, money especially now that the price of gas is now $2.16/litre.
I would like to go visit Nanaimo's shopping mall because I haven't seen that mall since year 2018 and it's only 1 hour and 30 minutes from here where we are. To go there our truck's gas consumption would be $150 bucks, back and forth would be $300. ? I know that's shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twenty years ago, $300 pays for a flight from Vancouver to Hawaii. Thirty years ago, you can go to Hong Kong from Philippines via Cathay Pacific for only U$50 fare (one way).
It is quite disturbing now that the price of gasoline, the volatile economy, the economic crisis could end up people not wanting to travel unless if its very important or almost "end of the world saga" that you must visit that place before it vanishes or becomes a thing of the past.
You really need fat savings or you have gold card or platinum credit cards in order to travel to desired destinations. Then come back home and worked your ass out again and be prepared to work so hard until you are in your wheelchair. That's what other people are doing. Worked their asses out, worked their butts out and get paralyzed for the sake of being "hardworking!"
Movie to watch: ME BEFORE YOU? Or YOU BEFORE ME?
Whatever!
