It is foggy and it's raining today, not cool as it warms up to 15 degrees Celsius today and hope that it wont rise up to the next degree. Who likes wearing skimpy suits and sundress, not me of course! I don't like wearing short shorts because too many bugs around. I'm used to cold weather that's why.
Early morning as I had my first brew of hot cup of Van Houtte coffee with blueberry bagel with butter for breakfast then husband had his oven-hot longganiza (sausages). I might try those spicy sausages, why not eh? Thinking of what's next to cook for lunch and what would be for dinner. Everyday that's what I'm preoccupied aside from blogging and what could be the best topic or subject to tackle with in my blogs I know some of the blogwriters also get to the same situation as in "what's next?" Like how many blogposts we had already for the past 5 years and past 15 years for the pioneers of us here in the blogworld.
Truth is sometimes I stare blankly at the walls of our home and or look outside looking for what I could shoot with my digital camera and if there is something that is very interesting then that's my subject for the day. It would be nice if I could travel but there are too many travel vlogger adventurers and don't want to be one like them besides that's costly. Some of them travel not because they are actually vlogger but they have tasks to accomplish and that's part of their jobs actually. Travel by leisure and pleasure in this time? Wow! Who are you? lol.
Know what this food makes me happy.
Remember I was craving for tuna? Hard to find fresh tuna in Canada. You can have tuna in can but the taste is different from real tuna. So told my husband, maybe I would take macky instead.
Mackerel's available in Superstore. The price is so shocking though. One piece of mack is worth $5.83 each. Two years ago, a bag of 6 pcs. of mackerel is worth $6.00 to $7.00
Better to understand INFLATION.
Anyway, I enjoyed the fried crunchy macky, the steamed jazmine rice, the veggies.
I get so crazy sometimes when all I eat are meat: pork, beef, ground pork, ground beef. It makes me throw up.
So when I started cooking those shrimps again husband cannot believe and warn me of my allergy.
The good thing about allergy is that it makes me feel more human like anybody else. Besides what I have to be careful now is to never eat farm-produced fish. I'm not bothered with halibut so it has something to do with those fishes in net cage or fed with dirty pellets.
For our dessert:
I couldn't believe this pineapple is really sweet. Most of the time we bought sour pineapple so we are lucky this time.
