Last night's NEWS was kind of good to watch when Canadians rally for "ELBOWS UP" & group of Americans had to join. GREAT!! I'm glad they can feel our sentiments here in Canada. Actually most Americans are not happy with what's going in the USA. We can't blame them. Blame your ?
There is so much problems and conflict in the USA that it was ever before. USA is at the center of so much conflict one after another. Add the tariff trade wars!
Housing affordability in Canada? Not too many families can afford $750/monthly rent for 2 bedrooms 1 &1/2 bathrooms in the year 2000. The minimum wage way back then was $7/hour in the year 1995-1999. Year period of uncertainty because of the NEWS about PULP MILLS CLOSING DOWN and other major industry about to shutdown in Canada during Year 1994 to 2000.
Year 2000 Rental house for $1,000/month for 3 bedrooms + 1 1/2 bathrooms - That's affordable!! Food prices not really a huge problem and clothing and other commodities are affordable in the Year 2000 to Year 2011. However, most clothing were made from India, Bangladesh and if you want to buy more expensive clothes worth more than $200 to $500 buy from catalogue Sears & Victoria Secret.
Year 2012-2019 Rental home for $1,500/month for 3 bedrooms + 2 & 1/2 bathrooms, garage - That's affordable!! The price of gas and oil still low, including price of grocery: foods and other items.
Year 2020 Rental home for $3,000/month for 3 bedrooms + 1 & 1/2 bathrooms with garage - UNAFFORDABLE in today's standard! High inflation happened. The pandemic had contributed to the problem. Then continues of high falutin inflation and high cost of living up almost to the stratosphere!! Are we all astronauts? LOL. Are we all at the ISS already?
Will the politicians lower the price of HOUSING? Majority of people would rather rent instead of owning houses because of risks involved. And some people would rather live on tents.
YES you can afford to buy a house if you have at least $500,000 to 1 MILLION DOLLARS! Otherwise Bank Loans offer high interest. Looks like BANKS are getting wealthier eh?
Not too many will buy houses especially with all the unforgiving calamities and disasters. Look at what happened to Jasper. Would they able to rebuild the loss of their homes and businesses? Why it took so long to rebuild their community? What's the on-going "activity" at the Jasper mountains?
WHAT CANADA IS MADE OF hundred years ago? Why Canada had been just settled in during the 18th Century? What Canada looked like during the 15th, 16th, and 17th Century?

No Historical Record in 15th Century except that there were archaeological findings "DINOSAURS once roamed Canada in BC & Alberta (Drumheller, Alberta featured ROYAL TYRRELL MUSEUM).

If there's no solution for those problems...LOST CAUSE! BE FRUGAL. STOP BUYING UNNECESSARY ITEMS. AVOID UNIMPORTANT SPENDING. Sacrifices you can make being frugal.
Otherwise if those almost ten years of the hate and rage at the Parliament of the high cost of living being the subject of debate therefore if no solution...do not open the Parliament. Because replays and repetitive continuous word for word of the same tiring voiced out of sentiments is such an annoying redundancy and WHAT THE HELL they are working for what? Hey just because I am opinionated here... now I know why I was a target in 2023. Thank you for that courageous nurse who told me about it.
Oh the TARIFF THREATS? How many months of non stop politics about nonsense tariff? Until April? Why not find new clients, find new ways to trade with other countries. USA is not the only country in the world. FGS. Sorry Americans it's not you, it is your potus. Use Canadian Armed Forces and Canadian government owned planes for commerce & trade. Armed Forces are not only for war they too are beneficial with the country's economy in pick up and delivery.
