Being Straightforward

 What happened yesterday and today: 

Actually, I was feeling very tired and exhausted yesterday that's why I was not in the mood to do much cooking. However, I made an effort to cook something special for the family last night.

Beef meat balls/seafood/mushroom stroganoff is awesome!

Ingredients: Beef, prawns, scallops, green peas, mushrooms, cream of mushrooms, onions,vermicelli drum wheat pasta and spices. Speaking of spices, only me whose brave enough to eat spicy foods. Sriracha sauce on beef meatballs just for me only. 

Hubby cannot eat food with chili/bell peppers, garlic, ginger, celery, and soy products until the operation is over.

Good enough.  

After everything's cleaned at the kitchen time to relax and wait for the next 2nd episode of LA BREA. That was a long waiting game because it aired at 9 PM. Oh my! Why good television series need to be at past 9 pm, 10 pm or at 11pm ? What do you think of us tv viewers? Are we that fanatic who would stay that late just to watch your series? So, I decided to snooze from 6 pm to 7 pm and then woke up. 

Sometimes, you can record the show/series and watch it the next day though if you cannot stand being wide awake that long at night.

What's good about the new sci-fi/drama LA BREA? On its pilot episode, the lead characters of this series were stranded on traffic along the road and suddenly quake happened and a massive giant hole opened up (like a huge crater) and swallowed everything on its dimension (diameter). The giant sinkhole was actually a gateway to another place and nobody knows what cause the humongous sinkhole. Next scenes: Those cast of characters who were descended to the mysterious sinkhole with the aurora borealis as the entrance down to that pathway didn't die and they met each other on one spot together with their vehicles still no signs of being hurt nor bruises. How they end up alive in a place like that is a matter of miracle or a mysterious selection in a rapture. However, while they were in search of other survivors, they realized they are not alone. Primeval species of animals are visible in that mystic place. Somebody got killed. Eve Harris son got hurt and need medical attention. Eve must do what loving , caring mother that she is has to find antibiotic for his son. Hey, there's a doctor in that drama series and fortunately there was a paramedic ambulance that was swallowed by the sinkhole but was miles apart from their descend spot. While they were trying to survive in such pre-historic unknown place, Eve's strange husband (in L.A. with her daughter Zyra) was seeing some kind of vision that his wife and son are alive. Second episode: Eve's husband found the site of his strange vision and unearthed his wife's diamond ring and decided to ask somebody to do the carbon dna testing of such ring. However the ring was stolen and to shorten the story, the military has something to do with it and they are in urgent preparation to do the rescue operation and search for those survivors. While the rest of the survivors of the giant sinkhole are trying to survive down that pre-historic place which is leveled at 10,000 BC. At least not at E.L.E. or level of extinction. Oh my! Seems very interesting. This is more like a combination of Jurassic Park + Star Gate + LOST television series. 

What happened to those buildings and structures? Only few structures were seen in two episodes. Maybe in the next episodes things would unravel one by one giving the skeptics not to make negative vibes to this challenging science fiction series. We can only hope so... SCIENCE FICTION is much better to watch, right? I hate watching other series with trans in it. Give us more "straight" stories. There are billions of straight humans than crooks if you know what I mean. Not being mean, just that do not lead us to evil.
