Our budget for FOOD per month is over $500 and $300+ for 2-3 weeks. Sometimes it can go over that amount if there's something to celebrate. It's not that we eat or consumed food like we are greedy. NOT REALLY. Foods: poultry products, meat (pork, beef), veggies or fresh produce and canned goods are COSTLY! Meat products are EXPENSIVE! But you need PROTEIN for your body. You cannot live by just eating bread and vegetables. That's impossible. You'll end up like a vegetable without bones.
Foods or non perishable foods are exempted from tax. No tax imposed for foods in Canada. However beverage including soft drinks are taxable including deposits for recycling you must pay for that at the till.
Canadians worked so hard than any other people from other countries. Some of them are already over 70+ to 80+ and still working. PENSION is really TOO SMALL to live by. And you wonder why those politicians are already 80 years old and still working in the US & Canada. I remember a female senior has to live inside the Home for the Aged and has to pay $5,000/month for her care. Long Term Care Home. She occupied a very small room in a 5 bedroom house with in-house nurse attending to their care of 5 elderly females. Really, very small for $5,000/month. You can live in a 5 bedroom house renting it for $5,000/month with swimming pool. Truth be told.
Housing: Rental homes now are unbelievably too high that you would rather live in the hospital instead. Maybe that's what those people are doing, renting a room at the hospitals. Cheaper rent than in hotels and motels. Hospitals being used as luxurious hotels. They should open spa, massage parlor and swimming pool at the hospital lobby. We need more hospitals with the conveniences built for patrons.
In Hongkong, new condominiums are built for convenience. The condo lobby has a swimming pool, video arcade, cafe, a convenience store with lottery booth, an emergency clinic, & book store. OMG! I missed that luxury. I'd like to go back there and live there if I won the lottery. Perfect place. Perfect climate! Happy, friendly people. Millionaires and billionaires who are not snotty-snobby compared to the middle class snobby-stuck up, feeling elite RACIST Canadians who think they are rich. LOL. Few exceptions of course!
There are few buildings being built in the city where I live and the project could end maybe next year and just like those newly built condos, they are fully booked and sold to many newcomers, maybe retirees from other provinces or maybe new immigrants. That fast. It's great for the economy. The growing population is exploding. Hey, who would say that the pandemic had stopped the world from spinning or had stop the population explosion? The population of humans are expanding. Mind-boggling. That is such a mystery of the isolation. Some couples got nothing to do but produce. Good for them. ha ha! Hey, I noticed the new Dairyland plastic container for milk, the jug is different. Why? I'm afraid to consume that fresh milk because of the new milk jug. Weird.is it really MILK? Ha ha being paranoid. The pandemic had made us paranoid and paranoia, OCD and AUTISM + ADHD had caused so many humans break the speed of sound cuz of certain flare ups.

Anyway, got a card from one of my nieces from Alberta, thanking us for our generous gift on their wedding day and the message is somewhat not that funny at all. GENEROUS. I don't give generous gift. The gift we gave is for the furnishing of their basement (really?) and they are looking forward to having us once the pandemic is over. WOW!How nice of them. Yup, newlyweds who are generously employed in the telecommunication service. Bankable! They owned a newly-built house. Wow! How much they are earning? I am very impressed! While we are renting an old house. Husband of mine is a carpenter, once a manager of a 31 unit townhouse and an apartment. He was once a manager for stevedoring company. Hardworking man. However, you know that my hubby is such a very helpful human being sometimes helping OTHER PEOPLE FIRST! We live a simple, modest life. I have 3 children. I have twins and a one year old baby. I had, they are grown ups now. Our lives is not that easy. I worked too before. I helped my brothers way back before. HELPING OTHERS without anything in return. I helped other people. In cash or in kind. It's not that I'm helping myself. I helped"them" whoever they are get here in Canada while I have problem of becoming a PR. However, that message is somewhat insulting. I could be wrong. That niece of whoever aunt is good at insulting me every often, most often than not. Good you are successful now. I hope you'll have lots of kids, that will fill up every room in your new home and you wont bother inviting us to stay in your basement because that will fill up your never ending babies being born every year.
Yeah, maybe that's GOOD NEWS. Maybe you are the one who will produce lots of babies. Because who else should?

FACEBOOK losing younger people due to what? Mature Facebook users visibility had caused so many young people out. Oh darn it. My two kids are not even signed in to FB. Their games are more important than anything in this world. Besides, maybe it's the old people making Facebook as reliable as it is because with those old people who are mothers and fathers, and elders who keep the monitoring and vigilant guarding of every Facebook users that made it safer.
