Tasks At Hand

 It is only 4 Celsius this morning and of course it is cold outside, 20 C inside our home. May 2022 and still is springtime. Friday the 13th today. So what? Are you afraid of the number 13? Some people do. For whatever that Friday the 13th is the most frightening movie and sequels after sequels were seen by moviegoers who love the masked slasher. Friday the 13th movie is similar to the movie Halloween.

For some people Friday is the last day of the week for two days rest: Saturday & Sunday. We usually think of Friday as TGIF especially when we are overwhelmed with so much tasks at the workplace or TGIF during at the years of being at school and university.

Saturday and Sunday is the weekends the relaxation days. Days of household chores and one of my favourite chores aside from cooking delicious food is ironing clothes. Figure that out.

In Canada, why I have to iron clothes when we have a clothes dryer machine. Me of all people doesn't like wearing wrinkled or crumpled clothes. I also iron bed sheets, blanket and comforter plus the pillow cases. 

I replaced the ironing board's fabric cover because the blue fabric cover with Hawaiian design logo of dolphins and hibiscus got worn out already. The new fabric is good enough for now. I can't find any other extra fabric in my box to replace and change it with something nicer. lol.

There are other things to do at home and time is the essence.

I wonder if you guys also do the household chores in your home or you have a helper or maids to do it for you. 

Well don't you know good mothers do these kind of chores at home. Actually I have a mother who will do the laundry, washed all the clothes, towels, blanket and pillow shams and separate some of them for starching. Yes, my mother used "liquid starch" to wash some of those linens, cotton blankets and bed sheets so that when ironed the linens are silky-smooth. Nobody does that procedure anymore because time consuming and hard work.

Anyway, maybe because she was doing it because I have delicate, sensitive skin. 

Coincidence that only now here in Canada that I'm getting this kind of rashes like hives. I don't have this skin problem when I was in Philippines. Then I noticed and observed that there are many people who have skin problem (here in Canada)  such as freckles, psoriasis, warts, vetiligo, cuts & bruises, skin patches, blotchy skin, melanoma (malignant or just tumor?), skin pigmentation, acne, pimples. I had pimples on my face I cannot hid them though. I am not worried about it. But the hives and urticaria is coincidentally...  many humans are having them now. Skin tags are most popular simply because of the prolong exposure facing computers and cellphones. Love the skin you have because that covers 70% of your body. You don't really have to use extra strength hand sanitizer and you don't have to buy fly-by-night or unknown brand hand sanitizer because that could be the cause of toxicity and thus lead to contact dermatitis and other skin irritations. I think mild soap and safe, clean water is good enough for cleansing and cleaning our hands. That's what it is SAFE, CLEAN WATER not contaminated, nuclear waste water.
