Some of those "people" were asking why we people here in Northern part of the world always watch TV as if we have nothing to do?
Dude and or dudes, whoever you are the cheapest form of entertainment here is watching TV. If you have hundred channels you can watch TV shows, TV series, documentaries, movies, sports, race and games. Our TV has HISTORY channel, NATURE, Religious channels (Catholic, Christian, Hindu, Buddhism, Jewish, Zorostrian, etc) Cooking and baking channels, National Geographic channel and other educational programs and to think that some of you think that TV shows and TV series can make you a very dull person? Think again and again.
I remember way back when my kids were in Grade School and a circus came to town and had our kids on those ferris wheel and other rides plus all those snacks of pop corn, candies, chocolates, drinks, hotdogs, and shooting some balloons for a hefty prize, sometimes of plushy hairy teddy bears or any stuffed toys and hour joy ride for those circular machines and all the merrymaking it all ended up to $500. That's how fast your money is spent and what's the equivalent of $500? In that period of time the monthly rent for a two bedroom house with 1 1/2 bathroom was priced at $600. That $500 worth of entertainment at the circus is worth of a 2 weeks groceries for a family of 5. That a TV connection and internet is only $100/month. Time/year period before the millennials.
We are currently been at the extreme massive inflation caused by uncertainty and maybe because the world's economists are actually fake economists or just that too many fake billionaires and too many fake millionaires. ? Who knows? Who knew? Junio, Julio, Augusto! lol
That those millionaires and billionaires were up to those millions and billions of debts and they are called millionaires and billionaires because of their DEBTS. Wait a second let us repeat that statement again. If they are millionaires and billionaires why in the hell they cannot pay their taxes?
So if I'm always watching TV it is because I gain knowledge from it not from those who are not watching tv. There are many ways in which you can acquire and gain knowledge if you think schools and university can help you and your kids then let them go to schools and university. Your knowledge is limited by the amount of textbooks and amount of your teachers or professors sharing their knowledge and experience to your students. You still have to read other books and still have to expand your mentality.
However, most employers asked for credentials especially in Philippines as they looked for diploma and their standard up to heavens that you must be a graduate from certain university where they graduated. That's B.S. though. You have to check for experience and skills not where those students graduated from. References? That's totally B.S. too. SKILLS & work experience matters in acquisition of employment for the employees. References are only second to the background investigation as such that the employee would be easy to find, reprimand or easy to ask for the job category that is asked for such individual. Employers need somebody whom they can trust too that's why reference is much needed. You don't want an employee that is unpredictable and a mystery for the company. A genius could be a psycho or a highly skilled unsocial individual could be always asking for trouble. You'll never know for sure in employment and deployment of such individuals. You want somebody that you can read in the workplace not somebody hideous. That's okay if you are in the publishing company and you are to write a very long novel about mystery and psycho thrillers.
