Deep Impact!

Wow! All of a sudden memories keep flashing back like lightning when that FORD TAURUS vehicle came into my mind. You know why? That marooned color Ford Taurus made my family the target of bumper to bumper hit by people who thought we are "Natives!" Some Canadians who never knew us, never knew my family thought we are Natives because of the permanent sticker almost like black tattoos attached to its  vehicle. It has "Thunderbird signs and logos in that vehicle associated to First Nations." Those were the times that left us in dismayed, so upsetting. Those uneducated educators or humans whose education is lower than mine made me question on their presence at the schools and then realizing that's the reason why they have to be in school especially in primary schools so that they can educate themselves further. They don't have enough knowledge. I think they need EVA.

My son was sent to the ESL Class because the teacher told him he was from FIRST NATION. My son argued and told him he is not from FIRST NATION but the teacher was so stern and firmly told him he is from that tribe. Would you believe that? Why not that arrogant teacher asked us first and or look at our face, look and investigate on our background first because what he did put my son in traumatic situation. At a very young age that was traumatic! It hit him like a trauma that he cannot even told me until he was 22 years of age.

(( In case of RACISM and BULLYING in Schools children must inform their parents right immediately so that  better disciplinary actions are taken into consideration.))

Okay, there's nothing wrong being identified as First Nation. They are indigenous people of Canada. They are the "first people, inhabitants of Canada." They have more rights and privilege than most Canadians who came from other countries as immigrants to this land. I came from the Philippines ( I was born in Philippines, my parents are Filipinos, based on our family history: My Mother's grandparents were 99% Spanish, and my Father's side were of Spanish-Filipino don't know the percentage) and my husband is white Canadian who was born here in Canada. His parents' great grandparents came from Norway and Germany and migrated to America.  My Mother-in-law was born in United States but she moved to Canada and got married in Canada, raised her children here in Canada. They were here in Canada before the 1940's. My father-in-law was Canadian, born here in Canada but his parents and grandparents were from Great Britain (UK).

If we have to tackle about HISTORY, who the FIRST NATIONS of Canada? Where the First Nations came from originally? The First Nations of America varies differently from the Natives of  Canada. Do we have to begin with the Pre-Historic or we have to open our HOLY BIBLE? If you are looking for JESUS CHRIST or you are looking for DR.  JOSE RIZAL ... whose blood you need to check? Is my blood you are after? Noli Me Tangere!

Or we should watch the old movie THE MISSION?
