MISCONCEPTION about owning a house.
Let's have that for our topic or subject to tackle with today. Not all people here in Canada or in the US fully owned a house if they only paid for down payment then pays for monthly mortgage. Some of the homeowners owed money from the bank to gain access to owning a house. A fully owned house is when you don't have to pay mortgage only yearly property tax.
Good for you if you inherited your parents old house who paid their home since you were born. But the value is already depreciated thr. the years but the value of land goes up.
Most who can pay a full payment are people with large sum of money either a full payment of $500,000 cash or cheques. Or if the house is worth 1 MILLION DOLLARS and who can afford such house? Mostly those who won lottery or executives earning at least $200,000 annually. Anybody who had millions of dollars are being investigated as where and how he accumulated such money and what that person's occupation. You think that's easy that somehow you can afford anything with lots of money?
I know too many houses are for sale including condominiums. Who owned them? For now its the developers who accumulated financial aid from large banks or from billionaire financiers whoever there maybe.
Ten years ago there were many skyscrapers condominiums built not really for residency. Don't know what it stands for actually. Some of those skyscrapers are empty. Nobody can afford and maybe they don't want anybody to live on it. Could it be those towers are just for the birds' nests or just a tower for lightning to strike to create electricity.
OWNING a house now is more like choosing the best safest location where no lightning would strike, no calamity and disaster to even occur such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, wildfires, tornadoes, etc.
There is no safest place on Earth...if what we are watching on TV News want us to believe.
