MABUHAY!!!

 Do you think the Filipino Community are afraid because of what had happened in the tragic Lapu-Lapu Festival held in Vancouver City? I DON'T THINK SO.

It's just that something like that should have not happened or had been prevented. The first year of the Festival sponsored by Filipino Community was a success even if the weather didn't cooperate. Filipino Festival is a fun-loving and happy event full of delicious foods, friendly people, delightful music and folk dances and other cultural representation of the Filipinos in Canada. Nobody had expected this tragedy that unfolds last Saturday night on April 26, 2025  after 8 pm. How the hell this chaotic incident happened is just beyond spectators of that event.

The Premier of British Columbia, David Eby who was there with his family in the morning of the Lapu-Lapu Filipino Cultural Festival enjoying the Filipino foods, his young daughter likes the siopao (pork bun). Then there was MP Jagmeet Singh enjoying the music of Black Eyed Peas having photo shoots with his NDP Party members, jumping up and down. Too many people from different race had patronized this one of a kind event.( Stories reported by Jason Pires of Global News - Filipino-Canadian newscaster).

The whole event was full of fun, happy people from different walks of life enjoying gastronomic foods  the lovely music, the live presentation of talented Filipinos. 

Well, this should not stop whatever you people are doing as in you should not be afraid just because of this tragic situation happened. Though it maybe traumatic, we all should unite to be brave, resilient and most of all be extra careful. Always be prepared.
