MOTHERS, WE ARE THE WORLD!

 HAPPY MOTHER's DAY!!!💓🙋🙏💓 My Mother the most ideal Mother in the world, of course in my eyes, in my heart and mind. She's religious, kind, loving, caring and most of all a hardworking woman. She was a  nurse at a military hospital before she retired at age 65. She's already 89 years old but still able to practice her religion to the most being helpful to young children in teaching about God, faith humility as she conducts  Bible Study in her hometown.

She was a valuable "icon" of our barangay in the 70's and 80's as 6th District President. This was during the Martial Law era in Philippines where leaders of every Barangay had to follow and obey the First lady's (Mrs. Imelda Marcos)  projects such as the Green Revolution & Beautification and Cleanliness project. Great effort. It was great so great that everything is in order and that's what I like with Martial Law: PEACE & ORDER.

In the Green Revolution Project  & Beautification and Cleanliness Project: All homeowners had to keep the same kind of fence and color of fences surrounding every house in the military compound. Every household must have potted plants close to the fence. All yard and sidewalks must be cleaned including the canals.  Every homeowners should have front or backyard garden intended to grow vegetables. Well we have garden for veggies at our yard that also include fruit trees : mango tree, caimito. guyabano, jackfruits, papaya, coconut, banana trees, aratilis, camias. We also had a huge garden of veggies in within the hospital yard. 

My Mother was a dedicated housewife, mother and civilian employee and she received so many awards from work. Always the "Employee Of The Year." 

That's what it is in the Philippines. Every employee who deserve it best are given the awards in the form of certificates, trophy and plaques of recognition.

TO MY DEAR GRANDMOTHER, TO MY LOVING SISTER ...

And to me... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to me also.
