SATURDAY RANTS

 

The photo was taken year 2017 when my husband caught this huge salmon from Brown's Bay. It was convenient to go fishing and boating because the price of gas was cheaper and affordable. Nowadays, the price of gas has catapulted to $2.04/liter too much and you know who to blame for such high cost of gas & oil and everything has risen including the high cost of living. There is only one to be blamed including those who are complicit to wrongdoings specifically graft and corruption in the government.

Aren't we all having problems and the only one without problem are not humans. 

Recently, I watched a sci-fi, action thriller movie KILL COMMAND. An elite group of specialized soldiers has to battle with group of robots that can appear and disappear in the forest. They have power of invisibility and the special forces not matched with the ultra modern military robots. The soldiers has one female half human half robot but she's too slow against those enemies. Robots should fight against their own kind as in drones for drones. Otherwise, the world will lose its human inhabitants. 

All the News Networks got nothing but the continuation of the War in Iran & Lebanon. When will it end? According to the News it will take weeks not months. Right on! Look at Ukraine & Russia, four years and counting. Don't you have enough killing? Too much blood flowing. 

Now you know why sometimes it is better to escape from reality...

It is because reality is more like a nightmare!

Saturday today and it's my turn to cook. No left-over last night's dinner of Bbq chicken, scalloped potatoes, steamed rice and deep fried pompano fish. My plan to cook fettuccine or maybe Filipino viand Pinakbet. Husband bought eggplant and bittermelon the main ingredients for pork Pinakbet. It's not Pinakbet without eggplant and bittermelon.
