I'll be away for today so my husband will be the Chef at home. Hm, I think I have left over pinakbet and caldereta for lunch and if ever my son and daughter could have pepperoni pizza instead. For dinner? that's really up for my husband to think what's good. He cooked a big pot of chilis yesterday afternoon and stored them in the fridge and freezer. Anything goes then.
We have frozen fish, frozen ground beef, frozen chicken meat, and frozen chunks of pork and long pork loins in the freezer, all he needs is to thaw the meat if he wants to cook them. He bought lots of leafy green vegetables and frozen peas and frozen green beans. Unlike in Philippines where we go to market everyday, here in Canada you have to shop in bulk or caselots twice a month and store grocery items in your pantry and in fridge and freezer. That's the way it is now. Bottles of juice, softdrinks must be in the pantry and fridge. Of course a box of coffee (keurig cups) must always available in the house. We are not tea persons, we are into coffee!! Van Houtte is too pricey for now that we are drinking Timothy's coffee for now.
It was last week that we received freebie's from Superstore from shopping there worth $350. Next $650 worth groceries! Kulang pa yun dahil sa mahal ng bilihin sa ngayon. Lahat ngayon tumaas na puera lang yung height mo. lol
Not that bad. Chocolates to give away!
I am not really a fan of chocolates. I might like the white chocolate milk instead. Maybe because I am not fond of "too sweet sugary taste" of chocolates.
