There are many people in other countries who are wealthy enough to migrate in Canada. They could invest in Canada. 

And the critic would say that's foul? NOT REALLY. Based from CANADA'S HISTORY which started during the 18th Century. It started even before probably 17th Century with the Indigenous Canadians but they have to show proof of their own History. How? They should consult the VATICAN in Rome about their own existence and how their history exist. 15th Century Canada was beyond frozen. Of course they have HISTORY. It must be written. It must be in BOOKS. Unwritten history is a mystery and cause for dispute that leads to war. The Indigenous of Canada the "originals" probably came all the way from Asia.

The first Prime Minister of Canada was JOHN A. MACDONALD ( born in Glasgow, Scotland January 11, 1815 - June 6, 1891). Yes, he and his family as immigrants. So why Canadians not chosen Indigenous as Prime Minister? ( Don't know, ask the First Nations, METIS & Inuits). PM Macdonald was the first Prime Minister from 1867 to 1837. First major project the huge Parliament Building, then  the first railroad and first locomotive (train) in July 21, 1836. Who were the railroad workers, would you believe few White people, Chinese (who migrated through tax heads imposed on them), few Asians -Filipinos. Railroad works are hard back-breaking works. It is not for the lazy. It costs lots of money. The more immigrants paying for them to get in Canada paid for the works of the Government.

Think all about this one more time. How funds are raised. IMMIGRANTS helped in the civilization, in nation building be of material wealth, be of human resources, skills and expertise. 

Just this morning, the Hon. Prime Minister MARK CARNEY wants you to be informed how Canada is built and how are we to rebuild once again. How your money are used to INVEST. 

So easy, if you have extra money.  TAXES also helped in the investment project and government projects. 

If you are Economist you know how much GST & PST per month & years. BILLIONS OF DOLLARS can be accumulated from  billions of products including services. Goods that were taxed already and subjected to second taxes...wow! that's wow!!

Bear in mind:
