There is one particular scene in "Dancing With the Wolves" movie that I didn't understand at first. Not because the movie was so deep down in drama and majestic scenery of the so called "last frontier" but because the characters in the movie story sometimes talked in codes or codified language.
When the Indian chief asked the soldier portrayed by Kevin Costner about the future events, he asked him, "Are the Whites coming?" Lt. Dunbar (Kevin) nod and replied, "Yes."
Then the next scene, Lt. Dunbar (Kevin) saw the slaughter of bulls in epic proportion. The bulls
were left on the ground without skin. What happened and who did it? It was shocking!
Next scene... the climate has changed and suddenly the snow falling on the ground. The whole ground was covered with snow that the Lakota Indians decided it was time to move to another place to settle.
It's a matter of survival in the wilds, in the very balmy cold temperature. They are not in Siberia. they are in America. Who should live and survive?
If that's a true story then you are alive today because of what they did to survive to that harsh, epic climate change.
