How smelly are you?
You are stinky by the kind of food you eat or had eaten prior to being sniffed by dogs. lol
Here are food that smell or has foul odor:
Beef, venison, moosemeat and other wild meat from duck, emu, geese, dried fish, squids, octopus, alamang, bagoong, shellfish.
Spices: onions, garlic, curry, garlic-bean sauce, cumin, teriyaki,, etc
Sometimes it depends on how you cook these dishes and what spices and sauces are added on the food. Cooks with expertise on cooking the right way or have special technique on culinary arts need to learn from the other experts.
Some people have tolerance on how and what they are to smell or just that they can't smell their own body odor. Try deodorant. Most of the time, people who are smokers don't really have sense of smell. People with serious illness have that "strong smell" inside their body but they can't smell their own rotten eggs. Don't know why. Immune?
Some people smells differently by the type of perfume, shampoo, hair dye (did you know that some hair dyes smell like manure? what the hell!!!!! For God sake! I think we should sue those assholes selling fake hair dye with scented manure)), body soap or body wash they used. There are fragrance or perfumes that some people smelled as "toxic" or foul smell such as those leather and musk cologne (I think derived from wild animals' sweat and urine). However, when there's lemon, lime or citrus added to mask the powerful odor then works well for most of the sensitives.
Do you have pets? They contribute to the smell or odor inside the house. Even if you bathe those pets their saliva and sweat can stay on the couch, sofa and chairs and on your bed, how about in your vehicle? That too. If you think it's your friend who is so smelly while you are inside their vehicle, please be reminded that your pet slobbered and drooled their saliva down on your car's leather or velvet seats. lol.
Have you tried chopping bags of onions and chopped bag of garlic? I worked in restaurants before and chopped millions of garlic heads and onions. I know. For those who never work in the restaurant, those juices coming from onions and garlic can be very smelly. You would rather throw your clothes and aprons after work. Just that some people have some kind of immunity. Have you been into restaurants with open concept style kitchen and the aroma of different food surround the whole mall? Have you been to food court lately? Try it out, have your lunch or dinner inside the food court at the mall. Then when you get home, smell your clothes and your hair. I know that the smell of the food lingers in your clothes, hair and throughout your skin.
Don't get me wrong, chefs and cooks are one of the best job ever! Some expert culinary chefs can make $75,000/year to at least $100,000/year. Just that sometimes, some of them have to start from the beginning to learn and gain more skills.
Taking a shower or bath everyday, good oral hygiene (dental care) is a must and first priority if you work at restaurants, cafe, malls, and places where food are being cooked. Even at home, during winter when the smoke from the stove can spread inside the house even if you have exhaust fan and exhaust chimney, still the smoke and smell of food lingers in the air. Toxic fumes? They can be toxic sometimes that's why you have to open your windows once in a while at your kitchen. Try plug-ins such as febreze. Out of febreze? Try Air Wick. White flower/vanilla/melon scents the most sweet and refreshing fragrance ever!
Inhale, exhale and breathe fresh air.
