It was 4 days ago when we went shopping at Superstore. I usually have a long list of groceries to buy from dairy products to veggies, cleaning supply and miscellaneous items. I would like to shop for new clothes but no budget for that. However, our shopping list end up costing us more than $500 plus free big sized turkey. At least there's a freebie and it's a turkey. Goodah eh?
If you see so many of my husband's clothes with paint stains, it is what it is. Consider that as work clothes or work uniforms with evidence of paint. Cloverdale paints!
In the news of Forever 21 fashion retail outlets going bankrupt and asking protection rights. What?
I first thought they are one of the successful businesses in America and Canada. It's hard to believe. How could that be? Too much competition. In competition with H&M, WINNERS, Walmart, Superstore's Joe Fresh, and it's because of AMAZON. Amazon.com offers a whole-wide variety of fashion outfits and they are priced very affordable for most consumers. However, because placing orders through the internet still is a worrying consequences for some of us and you know what I mean. You have sense of vision used through the internet but things must fit especially when it comes to clothing and texture of such clothing should be touched. However, when you shop at department stores you get to be interviewed with the same questioning technique by clerks on your personal information so that they have record of your name, address, email address, and other pertinent information. Reason for that some consumers would like to shop at Amazon. I don't know why shopping has to be like that now. Before, you just choose something to buy at the supermarket or department store and pay for it in cash and then go and get out of the store without feeling scared that your personal information would be scattered and given to other companies. Next, every hour there are emails after emails from those companies promoting their ads. You deleted a dozen of their emails and another dozen emails arrive within an hour. Non-stop. OMG! What the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's either competition with Amazon or just that too many thrift shops around. You can shop around.
When food and other basic necessities are more important than clothing.
I think my professor in Economics was somewhat very prophetic that this kind of marketing will come true and it is happening in our generation because it happened long time ago in Communist countries.
It would be nice if buying and selling has that process of haggling. The system of haggling as in the consumer or customer would haggle or bargain for the price until the seller lowers the price of such commodity. A pleasant interaction on bargaining table. Shrewd and rude? I don't think so. It was a wise argument and implication of conversation on how buyer and seller rules the marketing system. The consumer is always right? I think so.
