Flip-flops?

 The thought of getting out of the house makes me dizzy and feeling like I want to vomit or throw up, yeah that kind of feeling every time have to go out shopping or going to other places. lol Not really the same courageous woman I used to be before the pandemic. I like to get out and shoot. I mean like having to shoot picturesque views for photographs for art sake. It's always there is that motive and purpose why the need to get out of the house.

So, after long dry months of being recluse, living like a hermit decided to get out of the house because I saw something on advertisement c/o Joe Fresh. That black platform sandals!! I want that pair of wedge sandals for my feet. You know me having a collection of different pairs of slippers or as what the department store called as "flip flops." I remember I had 3 pairs of Avon wedge sandals in different colors: gold, bronze, silver (same design and style) thinking that the fitting or right fitting on my feet/toes just perfectly convenient as it has arch level and walking with those sandals felt very comfy. I should have ordered a dozen of such wedge sandals.

 

So even if I felt under the weather today manage to go to that store so that I can purchase the pairs of sandals. I looked around, feeling like a fool because how long I've been hidden inside my home? lol. Or just that the department store's clutter or disorganized style of display is _____what the hell? The shoes and slippers, sandals and boots are arranged in different order. It's not that all shoes should be in one place but they are scattered in different group together with those clothes. So it was just a spin. Head-spinning ordeal. I know, it is not as large as Shoemart where the whole building is about shoes on one level 1,000 sq.meter x boxlike department store with thousands of pairs to choose from. Well only one salesclerk who attends to customers unlike in other establishments where there are at least 20 clerks in one department store just for shoes. Easy to understand here in Canada where one clerk attends to one section, she's the warehouse clerk, merchandiser and stock clerk, sometimes maybe the purchaser and cashier. I asked the clerk and she told me they don't have those flip-flops yet. lol Too bad! I don't know if I have to go back the next day. I might really throw up on that day.

I was disappointed of course because they should not make an advertisement of such product if its not available in stores. Not the fault of the clerk but by their advertiser.

Hmp! Maybe, better luck next time. Maybe there will be more beautiful pairs of platform sandals somewhere maybe at Walmart.
