Survival

I woke up yesterday earlier than usual, had cup of fresh brewed coffee, opened the sliding glass door at the kitchen to breathe fresh air only to be upset of the foul odor in the air. The wind had carried the awful smokes here at the island of Vancouver from the wildfires in Alberta, Nova Scotia and in Sayward BC. Wow! Terrible!

The smog and polluted air travels through the wind and suddenly I started sneezing. My nose is very sensitive. My sense of smell is very sensitive to any foul smelly odor. Then today, got colds. Know why? The sudden drop of temperature, from 20 C + to 12 C last night and this morning to only 11 degrees Celsius. The ever changing weather temp. pattern can of course make you sick.

The smelly, foul air still lingers around in BC even if the wildfires are far, far away, thousand of miles away from us. It also smells of garbage being burned. Hmm, maybe the "pulp mill is already open?"

Can you just imagine of  a battery plant being opened in Ontario? What could be the great impact of such plant in their community? Of course that's employment opportunity to the people and will bring economic stability but health would be a scary thing to even imagine plus the environmental hazards of such battery plant. Advantages vs disadvantages.

Only the strong survives. That's probably the motto in today's time in our generation. No other option but survive the inevitable. Survive or die trying and take advantage of the great opportunity no matter how hard it would be and what could be those consequences. Keep on fighting to survive.
