Yesterday

Let us move away from that Artificial Intelligence as in it is artificial or it's a fake intelligence not natural so let's move on. We have to use our own common sense. lol

I should stop from using computers, stop from watching TV, no more radio, no telephone,  no cellphones, no gadget powered by electricity nor battery and it would be what kind of life would be? Living like a hermit? Living like a witch and just ride the broom to move around in different places?

I don't know if I could live that way when everything that we used in our home are powered by electricity and would I do my laundry manually and hang dry my clothes through the clothesline outside and let the sun dries the clothes? Oh, I tried washing clothes manually just like old times in my country of origin. It will take time to dry clothes here through the clothesline. Just right now, the weather temperature is unfavorable. At 11 Celsius and the sun is covered with clouds it will take a day to dry clothes and the smell of the clothes when dry is unpleasant. Weird. Why the not so pleasant moisture from the air? Is the pulp mill open for business again?

How to cook food using firewood? It's easy though as if you are in a campfire but don't think you can do that in an urban community nor in a campsite now that wildfires are becoming the norm once again. This time the wildfire is somewhere in Alberta. People were evacuated to safer place in Edmonton  due to ravishing menace of wildfires, massive smoke and power outage.

Thank goodness we live in Vancouver island and this island is surrounded by water specifically Pacific ocean, the Johnson Strait on the side and Discovery Passage which is across the Quadra island. We experience more sunshine here during at summer time of course and at Springtime is just an unpredictability of warm and cold air and could change drastically any time the wind blows in different directions. Frequently there are mild storms and small tidal waves but not enough to scare the inhabitants simply because the houses are stronger and sturdy to the the test of time and calamities. Thank God we don't have tornadoes here or hurricane.

What to cook this time? Checking our chest freezer, checking our fridge... At least we wont go hungry. Shake and baked chicken drumsticks plus fries for my family, grilled/fried pompano fish and pork with mungo for me. I was having fun, enjoying my pompano fish and somebody smelled it and she would like to try the fish. So half of the fish was for Eko (puppy). She doesn't like the mungo with pork and doesn't like the rice either not that she is unhappy with the piece of duck and dog treats of Milk-Bone flavoured beef, bacon and chicken but the pompano fish tasted better. If its good for me it is good for her too.

Later on she went outside the house together with my hubby and had yardwork done. Eko's hurdle (gate) was taken off the post so that lawn-mowing is easy. Eko played with her sister Venus running wild here and there at the front yard until they both got tired, agitated, restless and thirsty with their tongues out.

Hubby received several phone calls from former tenants. My hubby's retired being resident manager for townhouse and apartment. Then former employer also called, then Sonny the new townhouse manager who is taking online classes for by-laws also called, etc. Wow! Too many calls for Monday which is very unusual. I know, when my husband was the manager for 31 unit townhouse and two apartment buildings the phone calls from tenants, applicants were non-stop even if at midnight we got phone calls. 24 years of being the manager was overwhelming.

That was yesterday and today is Tuesday. ha ha ha! OMG. That's enough for now.
