JUNE IS PHILIPPINE HERITAGE MONTH IN CANADA

 The month of JUNE IS PHILIPPINE HERITAGE MONTH celebrated in CANADA every year after year. Knowing there are ONE MILLION FILIPINOS IN CANADA!

Expect the Filipino celebrations in every community where Filipinos live happily and conveniently. I don't know how happy would it be now after the murder of innocent people and violent assault of a Filipino cultural celebration "Lapu-Lapu Filipino Festival in Vancouver City attended by hundreds of thousands of Filipinos and Canadians and tourists and politicians and known celebrity music group Black Eyed Peas. Yeah, "where is the love?" 

Perhaps a low key celebration this year because you don't know what kind of security is being implemented in a larger population cities in Canada.

 

JUNE 19  is the celebration of the birth anniversary of Dr. JOSE P. RIZAL - Philippine's National Hero. The highly intelligent human is a polymath, opthalmologist- eye surgeon, engineer, professor, botanist, painter, scientist (discovered a flying dragon lizard named after him - draco rizali ). What a draco rizali looks like? Like an ancient species of baby dinosaur!

 He was a writer (fluent in many languages: Spanish, Pilipino, Chinese,  German, French )and also a novelist, books: NOLI ME TANGERE & EL FILIBUSTERISMO. He was very smart and maybe that caused him his life in a world where "an Indio should not be so smarter than those Spanish friars." He was executed by firing squad in Bagumbayan Luneta in Manila Philippines where his remarkable statue was guarded by guards all day. He is a very remarkable human and there is nobody like him because he is one of a kind very extraordinary of a human being.  His ancestral home in Calamba, Laguna is historically restored and now used as museum. 

Inside the famous house and museum of Rizal was a map where he traveled and what countries where he studied. He studied in Austria, then in  Germany met some intellectuals, wrote a book about Heilderberg and the beautiful  flowers of Heilderberg. Rizal's clothing,  books and other paraphernalia were also preserved and restored in glass compartment for safekeeping and public viewing

Filipino families usually use  Dr. Rizal as the best "role model" to influence their childrens' education. Other group of Filipinos, have President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. as their hero and source of educational inspiration, well of course their own father is their HERO.

EDUCATION is Philippine's priority to achieve great things, goal, ambition and purpose in life.
