While the economy in Canada is sort of weak as what the Bank Governor had said, we are not in recession which is great! Hey Canada sponsors the World Cup and some people are going gaga for the soccer games. That some Canadians have to patronize the games forget about Hockey & Basketball.
So its PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY in Philippines. Happy or not it's their 128th YEARS! Free or not free from colonialism, eh? Not really! Too many colonial influences that created the whole archipelago.
I happened to watch a video of those foreigners who happened to visit the LAS CASAS DE FILIPINAS AZUCAR in Bagac, Bataan PHILIPPINES where Spanish influence can be seen. I'm so glad that in this village the Filipinos had masterfully restored the insular of what Philippines looked like during the Spanish Era, circa 17th -18th Century.
