How about waking up in a beautiful island with lush greenery, coconut palms in abundance just right outside the sliding glass door? The fresh breezy wind caress your sensitive skin...wow! splendid.
OMG! It's just a prop? There's nothing wrong with daydreaming. At least I can see it with my own eyes. Sorry, no swimming pool outside, on the lawn. lol
For the meantime the palm will stay outside for the long duration of summer until when it's warm or hot. Then it will stay inside the house once autumn comes.
Here I am admiring the many flowers this outstanding clematis has endowed us, a variety of 'nelly moser' well that's what in the book. I could give it another name or rename it as pinkee clematis.
I love this plant because of its beauty, color and the flowers are bigger than most floral. The flowers are bigger than a human face, maybe the size of a dining plate.

My husband was busy preparing our special dinner. His favorite roast turkey with lots of stuffings and hot gravy.
He also grilled these flavorful spicy hot ribs.
I baked a blueberry peach pie. Ice cream, blueberry-zucchini muffins and watermelon for desserts.
I cooked special pancit (chow mein), beef rotini, steamed corn, steamed potatoes, prepared vegetable salad with ranch dill dressing.
We all enjoyed the food and all the stories over bottles of beer, coffee, juice and pop. You wonder what's the occasion? It's my husband's birthday. Lorne has turned age ____ ! yesterday. OMG! God bless him and may the Lord our God shower him with more blessings, good health, happiness and the love of his family and friends. It's right to give thanks and praise.
